Got 2 Sing Singers Support World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning – Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer, held Friday 28th September, is etched on the calendar for Got 2 Sing.

It is a fund raising favourite for the choir members every year – and that may have something to do with the amount of cake involved!

Got 2 Sing choir Members baked cakes, bought cakes and sang in their aprons to inject a little fun too and in the process our ten choirs collectively raised just over £2000 in the process.

Beth Dunn, founder of Got 2 Sing commented, “The Coffee Morning is such a fantastic initiative by Macmillan and a fun way to raise funds – it’s something we look forward to every year! I’m not so sure our waistlines thank us for it but it turns what is a fun rehearsal anyway into a real fantastic social event with lots of money raised for such a deserving cause to boot!”
