Jessica Wills – Choir Leader for Telford and Shrewsbury

Jessica Wills
Choir Leader for Shrewsbury & Telford
Jess has been immersed in choral music from the age of 14, when she began accompanying the Llanelli Male Voice Choir. This early experience sparked a deep and lasting interest to work with choirs, both as an accompanist and a singer, including performing as a member of the City of Bristol Choir.
Jess’s passion for leading vocal ensembles also emerged early and, at age 17, she took on the challenge of directing and arranging music for her sixth form choir.
Jess went on to earn a First-Class Honours degree in Music from the University of Birmingham, followed by a Master’s degree in Composition for Film and Television from the University of Bristol. A dedicated and versatile musician, she holds a diploma in Piano and Grade 8 qualifications in three instruments. More recently, she has transferred these musical skills to voice, and has achieved a Grade 6 in Rock and Pop vocals.
Now based in Telford, Jess works as a music teacher and is passionate about bringing together her love of teaching and choral music to make a meaningful contribution to the local community.
